The amazing fact to wrap your brain around is that Eugene "Bud" Sutherland had a dream much like his father and kept his family first in his accomplishment of his dream. Clela was an amazing mother for Bud Sutherland. He even took his son Bob for a ride in the Cadet II Glider and dressed him appropriately for the bid event! Grandpa Sutherland never talked about his father Walter. I respect the fact that even though his father missed out on some pretty spectacular events in Buds life, Grandpa Sutherland didn't talk bad about his father ever. I am so proud he went after his dream with his family first!
